Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Lead with expertise in managing partnerships with Professional Employer Organizations (PEO). This individual will oversee all HR functions related to PEO engagements, including payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing HR processes through the PEO and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and the PEO to manage and optimize HR services such as payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Partner with leadership to align PEO services with the company’s HR strategy, goals, and workforce planning needs.
- Handle complex employee relations issues ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the organization adheres to employment laws and regulations through the PEO, including labor laws, OSHA regulations, and EEOC guidelines.
- Work with the PEO to administer employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market standards.
- Oversee the employee onboarding and offboarding process ensuring seamless transitions and compliance.
- Manage HR data and analytics providing leadership with insights to support decision-making and organizational development.
- Continuously assess and refine HR policies, practices, and processes to enhance efficiency, employee satisfaction, and organizational performance.
- Monitor PEO performance, manage service-level agreements, and ensure the PEO delivers optimal service and value to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing PEO relationships or third-party HR vendors.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR practices, employment laws, benefits administration, and compliance in a PEO context.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to collaborate across functions and manage external vendors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and PEO platforms. Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and data analysis.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, strategic thinker, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
