POSITION TITLE: Human Resource Assistant
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
POSITION OVERVIEW:

The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources Department with multiple administrative functions and task. This role will play a heavy part in the companies Pre-Employment process. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and perform all functions with the pre-employment process for hires nationwide
- Supports the HR Generalist with weekly orientation scheduling, communication, shipping and set up
- Oversees company drug test and physical compliance and testing requirements
- Manages the human resource information system records for all new hires being imported, conducts regular audits on the integrity of data within the system
- Prepares reports for hiring managers and recruiters outlining new hire statuses; weekly
- Support new hire DOT compliance; running Motor Vehicle Records (MVR)
- Aligns with the department strategic plans, vision, and big picture goals
- Participate in assigned HR projects
- Perform other duties as requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position operates in a professional office environment located out of ADB headquarters
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, projectors, copy/fax, ansd smartphones
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- 2+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience
- HR degree preferred but not required
- SHRM-CP/PHR a plus
- Construction industry experience a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
This position starts at $20.00 per hour.
