Position may be Part-time HR/Payroll (very limited benefits) or Full-time HR/Payroll and other duties as assigned (with full benefits). Part time as needed in the office, and home-based role supporting management in HR and payroll duties.
Duties
- Administer various HR procedures for all company personnel
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Prepare and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
- Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Administer and coordinate incentive programs as part of payroll
- Coordinate employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters, including policies, benefits, and performance management
- Support leaders through progressive discipline processes
- Respond to complaints & conduct investigations (as needed)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources role
- Experience with QuickBooks Payroll preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
