Requirements
Position Overview:
The HR Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources department by handling various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position involves managing employee records, facilitating recruitment, and addressing daily HR inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the recruiting & talent acquisition team.
- Assist and support benefit open enrollment and help answer general benefit inquiries.
- Assist with confidential maintenance of HRIS Systems and employee records.
- Address general employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee recognition programs and events.
- Help coordinate training sessions and track employee progress.
- Provide general day to day administrative assistance to the HR team and help organize HR-related events.
- Provide coverage for the receptionist during absences and vacations including greeting visitors and managing phone calls.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned to ensure the success and smooth operation of the department
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidence.
- Demonstrates exceptional trustworthiness by maintaining confidentiality and acting with integrity in all professional interactions.
- Excels in building and nurturing trusting relationships through empathy, reliability, and effective communication with colleagues, clients, and candidates.
