Salary: $112,500 - 186,000

Focus: The
Human Resources Organizational Development Manager is responsible for developing and managing Organizational Development strategies, plans, and programs across all Olin segments to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to drive effective organizational capabilities in support of business goals. This is accomplished within the Human Resources and Organizational Development framework to include Organizational Capability (Talent Management), Personal Capability (Talent Development), Professional Capability (Learning and M&E training administration and delivery). The successful candidate will have a strong Human Resources Generalist background; this role is intended to build bench strength for the Human Resources Organizational Development function.
Human Resources Organizational Development Manager Essential Job Functions:
- Sets strategies that improve the organization’s ability to predict readiness to execute business goals.
- Expands visibility and availability of talent data to HRBPs and managers of people, to analyze talent implications and includes Voice of Employee feedback mechanisms.
- Designs and delivers slates of personal, professional, leadership and career development curriculums to further advance organizational skills capabilities.
- Partners with stakeholders to leverage and optimize professional and technical trainings that support regulatory compliances, fosters site and business group skills, and advances other soft skills.
- Provides leadership to locations and groups across the company to plan and implement effective workforce development programs and services to meet HR and Organizational Development objectives supporting short and long-term business needs.
- Provides experienced guidance, mentoring, and coaching across the organization in support of growth and development for employees that further advance the capability of the organization.
- Manages and motivates direct reports, provides feedback, manages and evaluates performance, develops and builds employee skills to support professional development and enables employees to optimize their contributions to the department.
Human Resources Organizational Development Manager Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree*; Human Resources, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Organizational Management, or Business-related discipline with a program of HR coursework strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant Human Resources experience to include progressive HR Generalist experience and HR Business Partner (client) support; must also include experience in talent management and talent development process administration, and designing, implementing and managing effective learning and workforce development programs.
- Manufacturing/industrial environment required; chemical manufacturing preferred.
- Required experience and skills to include performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, employee attraction and retention, team building, critical talent development, career and, leadership development skills, positive employee relations skills, learning and development processes, coaching experience in an HR Business Partner (client support) role, proven supervision and leadership skills, HR staff development experience, and demonstrated experience in developing and writing training content and training facilitation skills.
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliances, state and local requirements, and other regulatory standards common to manufacturing environments and human resources functions required.
- Microsoft Office 365 and Workday experience required.
- Preferred skills and experience to include skills-based organizational models, coaching and facilitation certifications, Workday adaptive planning module experience; ERP talent management and learning management systems, SAP.
- Ability to travel 10 - 25% of the time, usually overnight; geographic flexibility preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
