Role Summary:
The HR Generalist & Admin Specialist will play a pivotal role in both recruitment and administrative functions to streamline HR operations. This position is key to expanding our team from 32 to 80 employees over the next six months. The role demands a focus on recruitment activities (60-70% of the time) while also handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure office efficiency and organization (30-40% of the time).
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment (60-70%):
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Focus on recruiting for a diverse range of positions, with a special emphasis on engineering and technician roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and establish recruitment timelines.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all candidate records are current.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding processes, including workstation setup and orientation sessions.
Administrative Duties (30-40%):
- Oversee office supplies inventory and ensure that the workplace is orderly and well-maintained.
- Coordinate the scheduling of office cleaning and maintenance services.
- Plan and organize company events and team-building activities, including Employee of the Month recognitions and monthly meetings.
- Manage logistical aspects of business travel and employee schedule coordination.
- Maintain employee records and assist the HR Manager with payroll and benefits updates.
- Serve as the initial contact for office-related queries and visitor support.
HR Administrative Support:
- Update and maintain employee records and databases.
- Assist with the preparation of new hire documents, including background checks and onboarding paperwork.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including report preparation, meeting scheduling, and managing HR communications.
- Handle travel arrangements and reception duties, including visitor reception, provision of appropriate PPE, and conference room preparation.
