A national food production company is seeking a Human Resources Representative to join their team at their facility in Wakefield, NE. Responsibilities include providing administrative and tactical for support for daily HR operations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Provide administrative support for daily HR operations including attendance tracking, LOAs, discipline notices, employee file maintenance and I-9 expirations
- Support Talent Acquisition efforts by updating job descriptions, posting open positions, conducting interviews/tours as needed and offer administration
- Oversee employee onboarding by completing pre-employment and I-9 verifications, new hire orientation, new employee benefit administration and ensuring that new hire files are accurately completed in the HRIS system
- Support employee satisfaction directives including administering employee recognition, managing birthday and anniversary calendar, event planning and participating in exit interviews
- Other duties as needed
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- A minimum of one year of experience in an HR support or administrative role
- Strong understanding of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources
- Bilingual/Spanish required
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form at all levels of an organization
- Confident and assertive personality that can act decisively in difficult and critical situations
- Must have strong administrative skills, reporting and tracking experience with capability of working with HRIS systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
