Key Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement activities, including team-building events, recognition programs, and company celebrations.
- Support initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Recruiting Support:
- Assist with sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing job postings.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Employee Relations and Disciplinary Action:
- Support the HR Manager in addressing employee concerns, documenting performance issues, and administering disciplinary processes in a professional and fair manner.
- Act as a resource for employees seeking guidance on workplace policies and procedures.
- Workplace Environment and Culture Development:
- Promote a culture of betterment by supporting programs that encourage professional growth, continuous learning, and team collaboration.
- Assist with implementing initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
- Must be able to reliably commute for this on-site position, as it is exclusively in-person with no remote or hybrid options.
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, OR at least 1 year of experience in HR or a related field, OR an HR-related certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A passion for creating positive employee experiences and fostering personal and professional development.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with basic HR functions, such as recruiting, employee relations, or event planning, is a plus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems or tools.
- Comfort with learning new technologies and processes to support team success.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening, as permitted by law.
