The Business Development Associate will be responsible for performing market analysis to stay current with trends and implement a multi-dimensional strategy using a variety of tools. The ultimate goal is to develop strategic relationships with home health agency owners to drive new business acquisition opportunities. As New Day continues to grow, the Business Development Associate will analyze new geographies to assist the executive leadership team in refining our growth prospectus and strategy.
Job Duties:
- Network with home health (skilled home health, home care, hospice, pediatrics) owners to generate a robust pipeline of acquisition and partnership opportunities
- Execute daily outbound calls to practice operations, with the intent of generating interest into joining the New Day network
- Design and execute sales-oriented approach incorporating outbound calls, emails, and brochure mailings to prospective acquisition partnership interests
- Track and organize daily activities through CRM software, and distribute weekly activity metrics to Chief Development Officer · Smoothly transition interested owners to an introductory call with the Chief Development Officer
- Perform market analysis and competitor analysis within home health space
- Assist Chief Development Officer with identifying new markets for expansion
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years business development and/or sales experience
- Home health care experience preferred
- Relationship management
- Customer service responsibilities KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette; proven ability to network via phone calls and in person.
- Ability to think outside of the box to establish new approaches and strategic initiatives to generating partnership interest
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals.
- Demonstrated written, analytical and verbal communication skills including an ability to quickly summarize relevant data and observations, implement policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of computer-based program operations including spreadsheet and word-processing applications.
