About
I would like to introduce myself as an applicant for the HR consultant opportunity with the PI Network. With my extensive work experience and formidable education as the foundation for my skills and abilities, I will be a valuable collaborator and partner with and for the PI Network as an HR Consultant.
In my current position as Human Resources Manager at Walmart Inc. (Sam’s Supply Chain), I effectively manage 30 employees. All of them report directly to me. I am responsible for overseeing the Human Resources operations for a facility of 250 associates, ensuring support to the overall business strategy while helping to implement company goals on time, as well as handling employee relations concerns professionally. For over 20 years, I have had several accomplishments with implementing HR initiatives, developing HR procedures, coordinating recruitment, fostering a positive working environment, administering the benefits program, and ensuring compliance to industry regulations. With all the initiatives and the implementations, I have accomplished, associates are always at the forefront of every initiative.
As a graduate with an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management, I understand what it takes to manage employees and their concerns. I am well-versed in many aspects of employee relations which is to manage, create, and support positive relationships and connections between management and the workforce. Coupled with, my education and work experience in associate engagement, workforce development, talent acquisition and performance management which are tied together by my ability to empathize and communicate with others, are reasons to why I’m perfect for this career opportunity. I like to make people smile. It brings me immense pleasure when an associate is truly succeeding, and I get to promote them or have a hand in their success. It is extremely rewarding.
