What the role involves:
As an experienced HR Director, you will be leading the human resources strategy and operations for the Hoskinson Family Office and its security operations, supporting approximately 40 team members across multiple locations. This role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational management, requiring sophisticated understanding of both traditional corporate HR functions and the unique dynamics of family office operations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational growth while maintaining cultural integrity
- Lead all aspects of talent acquisition, from executive recruitment to security personnel hiring
- Create and manage performance management systems that align with organizational values and objectives
- Design and oversee compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent
- Establish professional development frameworks that support career growth across diverse roles
- Manage employee relations with particular attention to the unique needs of family office and security operations
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Develop HR policies that balance professional standards with family office flexibility
- Partner with leadership to support organizational development and change management initiatives
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years progressive HR experience, including strategic leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proven experience managing HR functions across multiple locations
- Track record of successful talent acquisition and retention
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
- Exceptional judgment and highest level of discretion
- Ability to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries
- Strong pattern recognition for organizational dynamics
- Excellence in both written and verbal communication
- Comfort working in dynamic, evolving environments
- Ability to balance traditional HR practices with innovative approaches
It’s preferred that you will also have the following qualifications and experience
- Master's degree in HR or related field
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
- Experience in family office or private company settings
- Background working with security operations
- Knowledge of healthcare or technology sector HR practices
- Proven experience implementing AI-driven tools and technologies in HR management, such as talent acquisition platforms, performance management systems, and employee engagement tools.
- Familiarity with HR-specific AI software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Eightfold AI) and general-purpose tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automation platforms like UiPath)

The base salary for this position has a range of $xxx up to $xxxk per year at the commencement of employment. Any offer is determined by overall experience and performance during the interview process. This is only part of the total compensation package.
