About the Role:
As an HR Assistant, you'll work directly with our Director of Human Resources and provide crucial administrative support to our HR team. You'll also be the welcoming face of our company at our Corporate Headquarters. We’re looking for someone who is incredibly organized, a great multitasker, and ready to tackle a variety of tasks with enthusiasm. While your primary focus will be supporting the HR team, flexibility to assist other departments as needed is key.
What You’ll Do:
Administrative Support:
- Assist with pre-screening applicants and reference checks
- Prepare documents for orientation and manage HR filing/scanning
- Conduct Time & Attendance audits and track training expiration dates
- Help plan and organize staff events, birthdays, and anniversaries
- Contribute to the monthly employee newsletter and handle daily administrative tasks
- Perform data entry, run errands, and support special projects as needed
Communication & Events:
- Assist in planning and executing company-wide and Center events (holiday parties, staff picnics, etc.)
- Coordinate office celebrations and various team activities
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate is a proactive “doer” with empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills. We value teamwork and a willingness to assist colleagues as needed. Specific qualifications include:
- Proficiency in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Quick learner with strong multitasking abilities
- Exceptional email etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a knack for maintaining accuracy
- Patience and compassion when handling client concerns
- Ability to work with diverse cultures and perspectives
- High level of professionalism for building relationships and handling confidential information
- Conversational Spanish skills is a plus
