ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Possess a thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, STD, and LTD.
- Communicate regularly with management regarding staffing and employee issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including filing and uploading all relevant paperwork.
- Partner with supervisors and managers on employee relations and corrective actions.
- Advise managers and supervisors on attendance concerns and issue appropriate warnings.
- Update and maintain timecards, attendance, and paid time off in applicable systems.
- Oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes for new hires.
- Assist with New Hire Orientation and onboarding procedures.
- Conduct pre-employment and post-accident drug testing.
- Enter and maintain employee training records in designated systems.
- Complete wage and employment verifications for external agencies as requested.
- Assist with the administration and education of employee benefits.
- Prepare reports and provide human resources information as needed.
- Organize and promote company engagement activities and events.
- Assist employees with questions or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update internal company communication channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources preferred.

- Experience with or ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS systems.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel from other departments.
