We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration and employee relations, ensuring the smooth operation of all benefits-related programs.

*General Responsibilities*
The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for researching, analyzing, evaluating, and supporting the administration of health and wellness programs. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Human Resources, Payroll/Finance to support benefit implementation to employees. Supports the annual open enrollment process, provides support on compliance including Affordable Care Act requirements, 401K retirement plan, etc. The Benefits Coordinator works closely with vendors to resolve issues impacting enrollment, eligibility, and other employee questions.
*Minimal Qualifications*
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources
- Experience supporting the delivery of benefits in accordance with plan rules and agency policies for health and wellness programs
- Familiarity with state and federal laws including: Affordable Care Act, ERISA, FMLA, CARES Act, 401k retirement plan, paid leave
- Strong computer sills including experience with Microsoft Windows and software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), databases, Zoom
- Strong analytical capability with high attention and accuracy to details
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to speak/present in front of large groups
- High level of organizational skills
- Able to work independently with good time management skills
- High level of confidentiality
*Desired Qualifications*
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Certificate in Human Resources Management and/or Benefits coordination
