*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions and initiatives within our organization.
Employment Status:
This is a full-time hourly position with regular hours being Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with 30 minutes for lunch. Additional hours will be required to conduct orientations, meetings and interviews as needed.
Duties:
- Coordinate the recruitment process including job postings, resume review, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, and the onboarding process.
- Responsible for benefits administration, including changes to current employees, enrollment of new employees and conducting a monthly enrollment orientation.
- Assists in administering transfers, promotions, discipline & terminations, ensuring compliance with company policy and applicable law.
- Assists Directors and Managers in organizing department training schedules and tracking schedule completion to ensure they are meeting company goals.
- Conducts exit interviews and provides feedback to management.
- Coordinate performance management process; work with Managers to ensure reviews are completed timely.
- Manages work comp and disability claims.
- Collaborate with Directors to develop policies, programs, and solutions in support of JK Core Values.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
- Find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
- Maintains the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
- May serve as back-up for payroll.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree with HR concentration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience required.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of employment law, federal and state regulations.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency, and ability to maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have an above-average knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and multi-task.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
