Job Summary : The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the HR department, ensuring the development and implementation of effective HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals.
This role requires a seasoned HR professional who can manage talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development.
The HR Director will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Functions :
40% : Provides strategic leadership in planning, directing, and managing the HR Department and the college's Human Resources team.
The director oversees and supports efforts related to recruitment, hiring, employee retention, employee relations, training and development, classification and compensation, payroll, ADA compliance, new employee orientations, and performance management.
- 30% : Manages the College Human Resources Department by supervising, training, supporting, and evaluating full-time and part-time Human Resources employees.
- 20% : Identify and implement strategies for a full-service Human Resources Office including all aspects of employee support services.
- 10% : Evaluates human resources processing operations and activities and recommends improvements; plans and coordinates implementation of electronic human resource system functionality.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in human resources or directly related field, six years of progressively responsible human resources experience that includes the administration of policies and procedures, advanced, complex analysis, program oversight, and two years of supervisory experience.
