The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for directly coordinating many aspects of recruitment, hiring and retaining staff, as well as scheduling. The Staffing Coordinator works directly with Human Resources and the Clinical Team to identify needs and work to fill them.
Job Duties
- Responsible for all pieces on new staff hiring, onboarding, and exiting FBS
- Manages job openings/postings across multiple channels (e.g., internally, externally, job boards, careers pages and social platforms)
- Sends internal position information to all of the FBS team (communicates openings, promotions, changes, etc)
- Sends all FBS offers to candidates
- Coordinate with Clinical Team and directors to identify current and future hiring needs
- Understanding of ABA to discuss job requirements and needs
- Attend job fairs (if local)
- Creates schedules and start dates according to staffing needs
- Manage candidates’ information (e.g., resumes and contact details)
- Conduct pre-employment screening contacts, getting references and performing background checks
- Prepare staffing reports for management team
- Conduct phone / virtual interviews
- Send pertinent information to Clinical Team when new staff has been identified
- Follow up with new hires on documents needed
- Invite staff to upcoming trainings
- Handles all staff off-boarding
- Be present for trainings and to show new staff around their first day
- Communicate with Team regarding scheduling, coverage, and new hires
- Design procedures for each hiring stage, including assessments and interview questions
- Responsible for Isolved HR-related and overall information
- Communication with college alumni associations
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires
- Match interviewees with hiring needs, as designated by the roster
- Update the roster to keep accurate and current
- Communicate with team via Microsoft Teams
- Collaborate with Office Manager and clinical teams for staffing
- Payroll preparation
- PTO oversight
- Manages personnel-related documentation
- Set up new staff in Electronic Medical Record Software: Central Reach
Requirements
- Experience in staffing/recruiting processes
- Experience using onboarding/recruiting software
- Direct experience/understanding in the field of ABA
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience in related field
- Successful passing of background check
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent Attention to Detail (will be responsible for all onboarding docs being completed entirely, without error)
- Can easily multi-task
- Works fluidly with different department staff and leaders
- Easily able to prioritize workflow with short notice/ and/or updated deadlines
