JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the HRIS manager, the Senior HR Analyst offers critical information technology and data analytics support to the Human Resource department.
The Senior HR Analyst supports the functional performance of Oracle HCM and other HR systems while acting as a liaison between Human Resources IT, and Payroll. The Senior HR Analyst assists with system implementation, develops reports, provides analytical support and validates data to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducts in-depth data analyses to proactively identify issues and, with working knowledge of the HR system, recommends actions for resolution.
• Generates Human Resources and Payroll reports to provide data summaries and statistical analyses for strategic planning and decision-making purposes.
• Generates regulatory reports, as required for state and/or federal law.
• Partners with HR leaders to ensure optimal performance of HRIS interfaces and accurate transmission of data.
• Follows established procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records and other HR-related data.
• Prepares HR systems business process designs, documenting functional and technical specifications, when necessary, as well as end-user documentation and training materials.
• Enters and tracks HRIS service tickets for timely resolution of issues.
• Manages updates to HR websites.
• Resolves problems effectively and efficiently and solicits input from all appropriate parties to ensure solutions are consistent with best practice and business operations while evaluating the impact on other processes, integrations, or security.
• Supports testing and configuration, report writing, system optimization post go-live, and coordination and management of cross-functional dependencies between Human Resources IT, and Payroll.
• Maintains data accuracy and integrity within HR systems through routine audits.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
Minimum of 4-6 years of HRIS functional experience, particularly within a matrixed organization, showcasing expertise in reporting and analytics.

Licensure: Oracle certifications not required, but are welcomed.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
- Ability to identify risks with HR systems and assists with the development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.
- • Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in advanced functions and formulas, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, and data validation.
- • Skilled in cleaning and formatting raw data for accuracy and consistency.
- • Experience in creating charts and graphs to effectively visualize data trends and patterns.
- • Ability to Provide in-depth analyses using interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
- • Ability to work as an independent contributor and uses interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
- • Working knowledge of ServiceNow application preferred.
- • Experience managing HRIS changes/implementations to support Mergers and Acquisitions.
- • Continuously seeking ways to improve and optimize use of HRIS platforms; experience with HRIS implementations preferred.
