Part-Time HR Manager

Our client is seeking a talented Human Resources professional to execute their people functions. the right person for this role will be well versed in Chicago/IL laws and have flexible availability depending on deadlines and deliverables.
What you get to do
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Update and distribute employee handbook
- Administer all benefits - answer questions, enter/change enrollments, lead open enrollment, etc.
- Prepare payroll for Finance department. Track PTO accrual and usage
- Manage 401k and corporate insurance
What you need to get the job done
- 5+ years of experience in HR
- Ability to commit 20-25 hours/week on average (flex schedule)
- Self-motivated and able to deliver results
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Flawless communication (written and in-person)
- Familiarity with Chicago and IL compliance requirements
