NUWAY is currently seeking a Human Resources Director to work in a full-time capacity.

Position Overview
The Human Resources Director (HRD) is a key member of the Human Resources Leadership team and will develop, plan, and administer policies, programs, and procedures across the NUWAY Alliance and its entities. The HRD will wear many hats and have key responsibilities pertaining to performance management, employee training & development, HRIS system optimization, organizational benefits, and policy & procedure development. The HRD must be able to maintain employee confidentiality in accordance with state and federal guidelines and HIPAA requirements.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge And Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years progressive HR and supervisory experience required, including 1-2 years of employee relations experience
- Must be age 18 or older
- Must be able to pass Minnesota DHS background study
- Proven ability to learn business operation, build positive partnerships and have high credibility with leaders and employees across the company
- Conducts self in a professional manner
- Proven ability to maintain excellent integrity and ethical standards within role
- Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
- Possess maturity, patience, understanding and empathy with recovering individuals and work with a multidisciplinary team.
- Physical Demands: Sitting for extended periods of time. Daily use of computer, phone, and other office equipment. Lifting (max 25 pounds), minimal reaching, bending and stooping. Ability to effectively navigate program or office environment such as ascending and descending steps, passing through doorways and entrances, and accessing program/office facilities.
Preferred
- Master’s degree
- Previous experience in a HR leadership position
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills
- Competent computer skills and able to effectively enter, audit and analyze information in various systems
