HR Business Partner - IT Concepts

IT Concepts is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support an internal client with employees across the US. You will be responsible for driving HR program execution within your aligned internal client group and for championing key company-wide change initiatives. If you are an analytical, results-oriented, highly collaborative HR professional and excel in a fast-paced and transformational environment, this role may be for you. This hybrid role is based in our Vienna, VA headquarters.
Location: Hybrid based in Vienna, Virginia
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 base, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the business leaders regarding HR policies, processes and best practices that drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Provide coaching and/or counseling to managers and employees as necessary. Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills, engagement and performance concerns.
- Coach managers on how to effectively leverage HCM and other systems to manage their workforce.
- Proactively identify people-related challenges and deliver solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Use business knowledge and workforce analytics to identify trends and develop appropriate actions.
- Stay informed on employment laws, regulations, and proven practices to drive positive business outcomes.
- Ensure effective partnerships with HR subject matter experts to develop solutions that enable the execution of key deliverables for internal clients.
- Execute company-wide cyclical HR processes including performance management, compensation, talent management, employee engagement
- Support change management in a fast-paced environment with a focus on effective communication and engagement at all levels.
- Ensure internal client organization(s) are in compliance with internal and external requirements.
- A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Human Resources Management
- 4-7 years of Human Resources experience in roles of progressively increasing scope, inclusive of 2 years’ experience working in an HR Generalist/HRBP role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels from employees to executives
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Develop and maintain influential relationships with managers to drive talent outcomes that support business objectives.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Prior direct experience in various sub-functions of HR, with strong focus in employee relations and performance management
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in fast-paced environment, applying strong judgement and independent thinking to solve problems.
- Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to quickly build strong and trusted relationships across teams, cross-functional partners, and key stakeholders.
- Critical thinker and analytic-minded with success in developing data-driven solutions for the business.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and conflicting opinions to facilitate the best decisions for employees and the business in an environment of ambiguity and rapid change.
Preferred Experience and Capabilities:
- MBA or Masters Degree in Industrial & Labor Relations
- Experience in Federal Contracting and/or Professional Services
- HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent.
