Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee and manage HR functions across our Minnesota and Arizona locations from our Oakdale, MN office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, with a focus on benefits, payroll, training, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Benefits Management: Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, and other insurance options. Ensure that all benefits programs are competitive and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll processing for employees in both Minnesota and Arizona locations. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll and manage related tax filings and reports.
- Training and Development: Develop, implement, and maintain training manuals and programs. Identify training needs and provide guidance to ensure employees are equipped with necessary skills.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Handle offboarding processes including exit interviews and final settlements.
- 401(k) Program: Administer the company’s 401(k) program. Provide information and assistance to employees regarding retirement plan options and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Employee Assistance: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues. Provide guidance on workplace policies, conflict resolution, and other HR-related matters.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes, addressing performance issues and providing support for employee development plans.
- Recruiting and Interviewing: Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and selection processes. Work closely with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in employment law and update company policies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management, with a strong focus on benefits, payroll, and employee relations.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems, including payroll and benefits administration tools specifically Paylocity, Ease, Human Interest and Further.
