We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time HR Assistant, who will also share in reception duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance and organization of employee files and certifications to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Support HR audits, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate
- Assist in the onboarding and orientation of new hires, helping to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in both physical and electronic formats
- Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communication
- Process employee status changes, such as promotions, terminations, and leave of absences
- Handle reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Help plan and execute employee engagement activities and initiatives
- Provide support to the HR team in various administrative tasks as needed
- Be a culture champion, promoting a positive and supportive work environment for employees and residents alike
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Receptionist, Admin Assistant, or in a related role is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and a desire to grow in the field of Human Resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HR software is a plus
